Admission criteria:

1. A Master’s degree with at least 55% of the points or an equivalent grade according to a grading system of a recognized university.
2. A doctorate.
3. Professor/Associate Professor with a total experience of at least 15 years in teaching/research at universities/colleges and other higher education institutions.
4. Minimum 10 research publications in peer reviewed or UGC sponsored journals.
5. Minimum research score of 110 as per Annex II in Table 2 of the UGC Regulation, 2018.
6. A relaxation of 5% marks can be given at Masters Levels for SC/ST/Socially Handicapped candidates. The eligibility of 55% (or equivalent figure in a scale of marks) and relaxation of 5% for the above mentioned categories will be allowed only on the basis of qualifying marks without any ornamental marks.
7. A 5% reduction in points may be granted to Ph.D. holders who obtained their Master’s degree before September 19, 1991.
8. The maximum age of the candidate is 55 years on 01.01.2024.
