Pat Sajak Won’t Interfere With Ryan Seacrest & ‘Wheel Of Fortune’

Pat Sajak retired Wheel of Fortune. While he still has one season to go Wheel of Fortune CelebritiesPat is done with the main series. His place is taken by Ryan Seacrest, who is polarizing with many fans. However, if Ryan wants help from Pat, he will probably be disappointed.

According to a source, Pat Sajak is too busy to help Ryan. And even if he wasn’t, Pat wouldn’t be interested in helping Ryan acclimate.

Pat Sajak Too Busy For Wheel of Fortune

Pat Sajak has left Wheel of Fortune and he seems to be enjoying his retirement. This is even after sources claim that the show forced Pat to retire before he was ready. This is one reason why Pat seems unwilling to help even when Ryan calls and asks for help.

According to a Wheel of Fortune Insider, Pat Sajak has been very busy since leaving the show. The source also said that “Pat won’t be involved” if Ryan Seacrest becomes the host. While that seems respectful, the source said it’s not as nice as it sounds. Instead, the source said, “There’s no denying that there’s a bitter satisfaction behind his motives” (via Closer weekly).

What this means is that Pat Sajak wants to watch Ryan wrestle, knowing that he is the host. Wheel of Fortune is not as easy as it seems. The source said Sajak is “clearly upset about the way he was treated and then removed from the show.” They also said it seems like “a forced retirement, at least that’s what people were picking up on.”

According to the source, Ryan has the ability to ask Pat for advice, “but asking is not getting. Pat is always going to be busy, otherwise he’ll brush Ryan off with a bland ‘You can do this.'”

Ryan has big shoes to fill, but that’s nothing new. Ken Jennings replaced Alex Trebek at Danger!Drew Carey replaced Bob Barker on The price is rightand Steve Harvey replaced Richard Dawson on The family feud.

Pat Sajak has acting ambitions

Pat Sajak is preparing to return to acting. He has worked in theater shows in Hawaii several times in the past. His next role is coming in the summer of 2025.

Pat, 77, landed a role in the community theater production called Prescription: Murder. He will perform alongside his old friend Joe Moore. The two previously worked together in productions such as The Odd Couple, The Honeymooners, The Boys in Autumn, Wrestling Ernest Hemingway and Dial M for Murder.
