Is the bus going to Amazon in Fayetteville? Starting in August, it will

Starting next month, the Fayetteville Area System of Transit will expand its service along the Bragg Boulevard corridor.

The new route will begin Aug. 1 from the FAST Center at 505 Franklin St. to Procurement Circle, near the new Amazon Fulfillment Center, a press release said. The route will operate seven days a week, with buses stopping every hour. The route will provide access to the Amazon facility from key locations including Cross Creek Mall, University Estates and several other locations, the release said.

A new stop

FAST is working on adding a new stop near the recently opened Senior East Center on Washington Drive, off Murchison Road. The start date for that service has yet to be determined, the press release said.
