Michael Dale Carr, age 73, of Fayetteville, It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Michael Dale Carr, born July 6, 1951, who passed away July 18, 2024. Michael was born in Pine Bluff, Ark., to George and Roberta Carr. He spent his early life in Jefferson County, Ark. He graduated from Pine Bluff High School, attended Southwest Assemblies of God University in Waxahachie, Texas, and then returned to Pine Bluff, Ark. Michael began his career in sales at Lowe’s Home Improvement, followed by a successful stint in sales and management at several auto dealerships. He later moved to Fayetteville, Ark., where he married Bonnie Savoy. Michael is survived by his daughter, Lana Carr, of Fayetteville, Ark. He is also survived by his sister, Twyla Brockman, of Fayetteville, Ark.; and his brothers, Lynn Wayne Carr (JoAnn), of White Hall, Ark., and Mark Carr, of Florence, Ala. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Dalton Faulk, Blake Faulk, Colin Faulk and Ella Faulk; as well as his great-grandchildren, Braylon Faulk and Millie Faulk, all of Fayetteville, Ark. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Savoy Carr; as well as his parents, George and Roberta Carr. Michael enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Fayetteville, Ark. His spiritual journey was an integral part of his life and he found comfort in connecting with his Savior. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Monday, July 22, 2024, with a funeral service immediately following at 2:00 PM, both at First Assembly of God, 550 East 15th Street, Fayetteville, Ark., 72701. Pastor Rick Walls will officiate. Michael will then be laid to rest next to his beloved wife, Bonnie, at Mount Comfort Cemetery in Fayetteville, Ark. Services are being handled by Westfield Chapel Funeral Home, of Springdale, Ark. Pallbearers will be Dalton Faulk, Blake Faulk, Colin Faulk, Ricky Carr, Ben Tyer, and Nathaniel Wright. Donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made to First Assembly of God Church, 550 East 15th Street, Fayetteville, Ark., 72701, in Michael’s memory.
